Fantastic Beasts: And Where To Find Them Premier Review!!!!

SPOILERS!!! SPOILERS FOR FANTASTIC BEASTS!!!!

Caution, no muggles were harmed in the making of this post.... actually there were.

Yesterday, Me and nanny went to Cineworld to see Fantastic beasts: and where to find them, Basically a Harry Potter spin-off but about the book of the same name by J.K Rowling. Nanny actually managed to win the tickets to see the premier! Unfortunately the competition was for 4 tickets and she only won the runners up prize, 2 tickets. So the oh so very lucky grandad got to go and see Trolls with my little itty bitty baby sister Jessica, I'm so jealous?

Actors and the characters they play:

Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander)

Katharine Waterston (Porpentina Goldstein)

Colin Farrell AND Johnny Depp (one sorta turns into the other one) (Percival Graves AND Gellert Grindlewald)

Ezra Miller (Credence)

Fine Frenzy (Queenie Goldstein)

Samantha Morton (Mary lou)

Jon Voight (Henry Shaw, Sr)

Carmen Ejogo (Seraphina Picquery)

Jenn Murray (Chastity)

Faith Wood-Blagrove (Modesty)

Okay so the film, starring Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) the main character, starts off with Newt travelling from England to New York America set in 1926 to, uh..... haha, I'm not spoiling it ;). But anyway he runs into a muggle called Jacob (who the American witches and wizards call no-mages) who ends up accidentally swapping his suit case for Newt's, in which Newt's contain a whole bunch of Magical and dangerous creatures (a lot of which you can find in the book, Fantastic beasts: and where to find them) and Jacob accidentally lets a bunch of them lose, yeah, and that's where the fun begins. But what Newt didn't realise was that New York were having some problems of their own, and we're talking a out-of-control beast how is tearing up the city. RIGHT! Enough spoiled your gonna have to wait for the film to watch yourselves!

Some of the creatures in his case included:

Bowtruckle: a little green thing that sorta looks like a sapling.

Niffler: I have got no clue how to describe this thing but a platypus that steals jewellery and stores it in his never-ending pouch

Thunderbird: the REAL reason Newt came to America! It's one of my favourite beasts in the case, I love its tail though, I cant stop looking at it!

Demiguise: a cute little thing that spends most of its time invisible and it can also see the most likely future, and at the particular scene we see 'em in he's babysitting something very 'little'......

Erumpent: uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum, a big rhino looking this this a big bobbley head.......... yeah.

Occamy: a little sepent with wings, and, being a snake lover, I love this little cute thing. And also the 'little' thing that the Demiguise is babysitting.

Swooping Evil: a creature that is pretty much a reptile that is able to suck out your brain..... not kidding.

Billywig: a very weird little thing.... yeah, and pretty harmless

AND THAT'S ONLY SOME OF THEM!!!

I rate this film a 15/10 :) I think it is better than Harry Potter and the good news is there are 4 more films to come :D The film itself is a 12A but that's just because of all the destruction that goes on and the occasional death, I'm 11 and thought it was suitable for my little sister, there was NO bad language as well, which I am glad about. It was nice to see the Wizarding world make a comeback after Harry Potter ended, These films themselves aren't your ordinary fairy-tale wizards and witches and that's probably why they got so far. All around, The series is fantastic not-too-kid-friendly franchise that's probably inspired other films. I hope they do carry through with the other films they have already stated would be happening. Oh, and look out for the bit where Newt opens his suitcase and just jumps into it, it was soooooooooooooo funny and unexpected!!!
